BIOGRAFI
L'Arc~en~Ciel established in February 1991 with Tetsu as bassist and leader, Hide (now known as Hyde) on vocal, Hiro on guitar and Pero on Drum. This name L'Arc and Ciel was choosen by Tetsu based on a movie that he watched.
In year 1992, Ken, Tetsu friend since they were kid drop out from university to join this band, replacing Hiro on guitar. In December at the same year, Pero get out. Then Tetsu ask Sakura to join in after he saw Sakura performance, though he didn't know him that much. After saw L'Arc~en~Ciel perform, Sakura decided to join with this band in year 1993. Their first album, Dune, also launched at the year that became number one in Orion Indies Chat and stole major labels eyes.
In 1994, L'Arc~en~Ciel get a contract with Ki/Oon division of Sony and launched their second album, Tierra. Then Heavenly launched in 1995, and 1996 was marked with True launched. Their first album that reached million coppies.

When this news published, L'Arc~en~Ciel CD's dropped from many store. And The Fourt Avenue Cafe that was used to be an anime soundtrack before suddendly exchanged. They are seems to hit the floor. But, the True album was hold on the Chart for two years along.

For a few months this band was under unclearly zone to get better that made by Sakura drugs scandal. L'Arc~en~Ciel then unseriously entertain theirselves by made The Zombie, a band that covering their own songs and songs from Nirvana and Marilyn Manson.
They are formally back with held a concert titled Reincarnation '97 Live at Tokyo Dome. With visitor reached till 56.000 head. First show that reachs ticket record sales that never break down till now. The ticket was sold out only in 4 mins. This concert was the first time for Yukihiro(ex-Die in Cries and Zi:Kill) perform as their new drummer. Although their frst single launched after Sakura out, Niji wrote his name as support member. Not long from the lauching, Yukihiro was though as their formal member.
Their next album, Heart launched in 1998. In 1999, Ark and Ray launched in the same time that also launched as first Japanese album that launched at the same time in Japan and a few Asian countries. Every album was sold more then two million coppies that stand in the first and second rank in Orion Chart.
Tahun 2000 REAL, yang menjadi album orisinil terakhir mereka sebelum vakum dan mengerjakan proyek solo masing – masing, dirilis. Lagu terakhir mereka, Spirit dreams inside dipakai sebagai lagu penutup film Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.
Real was their last original album launched in 2000 before they vaccum and started to work alone in their own solo project. Their last songs, Spirit Dreams Inside was used as closing soundtack in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.
