How to Look Like a Casual Feminine Jrocker (for Girls)

Ever wanted to look like a jrocker in the streets? Have everyone looking at you for being the feminine Rock Goddess that you are when shopping? This article shows girls how to look like a beautiful feminine jrocker off stage.

Steps

  1. Hair Dying. Black is perfect but most female jrockers go for a slightly lighter colour like dark chocolate brown. A half-half style is great too; one side one colour, the other side another or bleaching the top layers is great too because it gives your hair more shape.
  2. Hairstyling. Jrock hair is always nicest long so if you have short hair then you can keep it long from the front and include some long hair extensions in the back that you can bring over your shoulders. You can get thick long bangs, a blunt fringe or even a long side-part. Pushing the front of your hair back, gives the back of the hair a look of more layers. # Make-up. For the face you can choose to use some blusher and moisturiser but remember to keep the different kinds of colour on your face to the minimum. Also remember not to let both blusher and moisturiser look shiny on your skin.
  3. For the eyes, always focus on the colours black, white and silver(or grey). You can use black eye liner to line the inside of the bottom and top eyelids, then lightly draw a line similar to the black one in silver on the bottom eyelid and smear just a bit of white eye shadow; this is a popular technique used amongst jrockers, female and male alike, on stage and off stage. You can always add little jewels to the eyes, or learn how to draw with the black eye liner and add a little heart or cross to the corner.
  4. For the lips, most Jrockers, whether on stage or off stage, like to keep the general colour of their lips so they usually use a nice gloss rather than lipstick. For stage make-up, a lot of jrockers choose a slightly brighter lip colour and use that, while others put on black lipstick and spread it from their mouth along their cheek. If you have thick lips then it's also common for jrockers to cover the majority of their lips with foundation and then line just the part they want.
  5. As for the eyebrows, you could either do what some jrockers have done and shave them off and just draw them on; while this is fun because you can change them, it's quite difficult to get them just right and have to put them on everyday as part of a daily routine but they're still great fun to work on. Otherwise you must always keep your eyebrows well-shaped, neat and clean, while the choice of shape from person to person can be different.
  6. Clothing. For everyday clothing, wear a fitted t-shirt that is filled with designs, nothing too plain. Tight fitted drain-pipe jeans with a pair of long boots(on the inside or outside of the jeans) gives you some height. Boots or creepers make you look taller and makes you more convincing. Always accessorize with wrist cuffs, arm warmers, studded belts, bracelets, lots of rings and a necklace with a large pendent. Some brands that have the perfect jewellery and clothing include Vivvienne Westwood, Sex Pot Revenge, Dreorart, Sexy Dynamite London.
  7. For bags bigger are almost always better. Use backpacks on most occasions but big handbags are always lovely for your shopping days.
  8. For some extras; mascara always makes the eyes look lovely and big which makes things so much better because the eyes are so expressive. Fake eyelashes really help too. Black lipstick should be avoided in most cases but it is a great idea to line your lips in black and then rub it to the centre of your lips, it gives a larger, more kissable look. Coloured contacts can add to the look.

Tips

  • Always start putting on your make up with a clean and fresh face.
  • Sweetly scented perfume is always a lovely touch.
  • Piercings are a big deal in Visual Kei. Ear, lip and nose piercings are most popular.
  • Make sure you remain perfectly updated in all the JRock catagories of music, otherwise you look like a fake.
